HouseMaster Home Inspections Price Match Guarantee – Terms and Conditions

HouseMaster is pleased to offer a Price Match Guarantee to ensure you receive the best value without compromising on quality. To qualify for our Price Match Guarantee, certain terms and conditions must be met to maintain a fair and equitable comparison between services.

The Price Match Guarantee is valid only for companies that have equivalent characteristics to HouseMaster. The competing company must employ multiple inspectors and cannot be an individual or solo practitioner. Additionally, the company must offer at least one ancillary service in-house—such as pool inspections, mold assessments, or thermography—in addition to standard 4-Point and Wind Mitigation inspections. Ancillary services performed by third parties or subcontractors do not qualify.

Customers must submit a written quote from the competing company via email, with a detailed breakdown of the costs for the standard home inspection and any additional services. The quote must clearly outline all services beyond the inspection, allowing for an accurate and transparent comparison.

This Price Match Guarantee applies exclusively to full home inspection services for home purchase transactions involving a buyer and a real estate agent. It does not extend to standalone ancillary services. The offer is only valid for quotes received during October, and the minimum price for any inspection eligible for the price match is $300. We will not match or perform any inspection under this amount, as $300 is the minimum price offered by reputable companies in the industry.

The competing company must also meet specific insurance and legal requirements. They must have a minimum of $1 million in Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage. If they employ multiple inspectors, they must also carry valid workers’ compensation insurance. Should the customer request it, these insurance documents must be presented for the price match to be approved.

To ensure the credibility of the competing company, the inspector named in the quote must be verified. The customer must provide the inspector’s name, which we will confirm holds a valid home inspection license on MyFloridaLicense.com. Inspectors who are not members of professional associations, such as NIBI, InterNACHI, or FABI (Florida Association of Building Inspectors), may be disqualified as they may not adhere to the same ethical standards or receive the same level of ongoing professional training.

The competing company must also have a customer service or call center (either in-house or outsourced) to handle client communications. Quotes from companies that use personal cell phone numbers for inspector contact will not qualify. The legal name of the competing company must also be provided, allowing us to verify that the company is in good standing with the state of Florida via SunBiz.org.

Requests for a Price Match must be submitted at least 36 hours before the scheduled inspection to allow sufficient time to process and validate the quote, as well as review any necessary documentation.

These terms and conditions apply solely to customers or realtors requesting the price match and CPFM Enterprises LLC, dba HouseMaster. The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to other HouseMaster franchisees, as they are independently owned and operated.
